mgkdk Posted February 20, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2008 Does anyone know what time AOS actually leaves port? Have heard 8:30pm and 10:00pm. Cruise docs came today and say 10pm. Would love to have time to see OSJ...10pm would be great! If it is 10pm what time should we be back onboard? If we board by 3, off by 4, and back by 7 what about the muster drill? RELAXIN' Posted February 20, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2008 What day are you leaving? We are leaving on 3/2 and our docs show an 8:30 departure.
ckrobyn Posted February 20, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2008 For some reason the current AOS sailing (Feb 17th) left port at 10pm - all other sailings are listed as 8:30pm. We are expecting to depart at 8:30pm this Sunday :)
mgkdk Posted February 20, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted February 20, 2008 Got our docs from TA yesterday. Departure listed as 10pm! Brother-in-law departing this Sunday, will double check with him when they get back. Hoping on 10...would love to see OSJ
Stina3299 Posted February 26, 2008 #6 Share Posted February 26, 2008 We were on the Feb 17th sailing as well. Captain Tommy made an announcement that some people's flights were delayed and that we were waiting for them. Having come from a New England airport (where bad weather is always a risk in February) that was nice to hear. Perhaps the boat can leave earlier if everyone has boarded and the muster has been done but has until 10pm in the port? Not sure if anyone could confirm that. cb at sea Posted February 26, 2008 #7 Share Posted February 26, 2008 If your docs say 10pm, then I can't imagine they would depart prior to that time!
wrp96 Posted February 26, 2008 #8 Share Posted February 26, 2008 Check your reservation online. Sometimes they will make itinerary changes after the docs are printed. I'd go with what your online itinerary says before I'd trust your docs.
cruiser217 Posted February 26, 2008 #9 Share Posted February 26, 2008 I just got off the AOS on Sunday 2/24. Our reservation said we would leave @ 10:00 but when boarded captain tommy said we would try to leave at 8:30 but we had to wait for people who flights were delayed but if they weren't there by 10 we were going to leave. He also said that if they got there before 10, we would leave then. We didn't end up leaving until ten. And the muster drill is at six.
