holidaybound Posted February 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2008 We are sailing to Alaska on the Infinity this summer. Our reservation states "Second Early Seating" for dinner. Can anyone clarify for me if that means the first/early sitting? Thank you in advance.

nps001 Posted February 23, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2008 That sounds like a mistake to me. Usually the Main seating is the early, and there is a late seating. According to the X website, the times are 6:15 and 8:30pm
holidaybound Posted February 23, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted February 23, 2008 Thank you very much for your responses. It looks like I will need to clarify this with Celebrity.
Amlee Posted February 23, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2008 Disney is the only cruise line that I know of that does the stacked dinning like that. I would check and make sure that is correct.

Essentially, it meant that dining was 6 and 6:30, and then 8:30 and 9 on RCL. Back up these times a half hour for the same thing on HAL. It doesn't really affect food quality on those ships, since each level had a separate gally. not sure how this would affect X.
