Second Early Seating?

We are sailing to Alaska on the Infinity this summer. Our reservation states "Second Early Seating" for dinner.

Can anyone clarify for me if that means the first/early sitting?

Thank you in advance.

I would check on that as I never heard of any dining arrangement described that way.

HAL does that sort of seating, as did RCL when we sailed Europe. Essentially, it meant that dining was 6 and 6:30, and then 8:30 and 9 on RCL. Back up these times a half hour for the same thing on HAL. It doesn't really affect food quality on those ships, since each level had a separate gally. not sure how this would affect X.
