Has anyone had trouble cancelling a cruise on disney, we have to cancelled the June cruise out ot San Piedro, because of the writer stike, my kids can't go!!:confused:

No problem at all. They usually just ask if you want to re-book at a different date and if not they will cancel the cruise and refund to your credit card the deposit or send a check if you paid cash.

 

we have cancelled 3 times and rebooked once with no problem at all.

By cancelling this far in advance there are NO penalties.

Also, it depends on which category you have booked. Categories 1-3 deposits are non-refundable; however it can be be used for a different sailing date. Good luck!

We,ve cancelled with Disney twice and just simply rebooked at a different date.There wwere no penalties.One of the rebooked cruises was cheaper,so we had room credits when we got on board.

When we cancelled our Disney cruise (regrettably) , it was a quick and painless procedure. The refund was back on my credit card practically the next day.

Are your kids back to work? ;) Or are you or your spouse a writer? There's no problem cancelling before final payment. After that - there are penalties for cancelling.

I just called today because it looks like my husband can not come with us on the trip. Because we are 24 days until the trip we get 50% back. The customer service person just checked the reservation, they told me that when it is 7 days or closer there is no refund.
