OCruisers Posted September 24, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2004 s7s .... Gee, my DH would LOVE your new itinerary so much with the extra "AtSea" day -- his favorite! (Still haven't told him our Veendam has 9 port stops  ) Know you will have a WONDERFUL cruise! Have a "Coral LemonDrop" and think of all of us .... Happy Sailing! sail7seas Posted September 24, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted September 24, 2004 OOOPS!!!!! Thanks, OCruisers. Good thing you wrote your message. I looked at what I typed and I added one too many sea days. There is only one sea day between Costa Maya and HMC. I turned our seven day cruise into an eight day one. (Sure wish I really could do that. :) ) Thanks for your message.
Jean&Gene Posted September 24, 2004 #6 Share Posted September 24, 2004 I looked at what I typed and I added one too many sea days. There is only one sea day between Costa Maya and HMC. I turned our seven day cruise into an eight day one. . Actually, there are two sea days between Costa Maya and HMC - else we would stir up quite a breeze going between the two. You need to take the sea day out between Key West (leaving earlier) and Cozumel (arriving later). That gives us the seven nights. Sail7seas needs a vacation - I can tell! :)
LoveLifeAtSea Posted September 24, 2004 #7 Share Posted September 24, 2004 Jean .... you are so right! I noticed the changes on HAL's site this morning. However, I did see earlier this week that sea days were scheduled for Monday and Thursday. I guess current conditions are creating these newest changes. rdy2cruz Posted September 24, 2004 #8 Share Posted September 24, 2004 I think we are going to have to wait to get on board and then find out for sure where we are going and when!!!

taszmom Posted September 24, 2004 #10 Share Posted September 24, 2004 Hey I wouldn't mind an 8 day cruise for the price of a 7!
grannynurse Posted September 25, 2004 #11 Share Posted September 25, 2004 Hi, Just curious, were you supposed to stop at Grand cayman? I can forsee that there will probably be a few itinerary changes for this fall. We'll be on the Zaandam for New Year's and I expect things might be back to normal(?) by then. sail7seas Posted September 25, 2004 Author #12 Share Posted September 25, 2004 Yes, GrannyN.......The October 2 cruise originally was scheduled to call at Grand Cayman but because of the extensive damage, HAL cancelled that call and substituted Costa Maya. Actually, while I am very sorry for the hardship to the people of Grand Cayman, I am quite happy to be seeing Costa Maya. We've been to the Caribbean sooooo many times, it'll be nice to see something new.
