Last sailing before an itinerary ends – Good or Bad?

I am currently booked on the December 9 sailing of the Tahitian Princess. This is the last Tahitian sailing before Princess pulls out of the Tahitian market. My question is this – will this be a great sailing because of a bon voyage like celebratory mood, or will the staff and tour operators be in a bad mood because they are unhappy about Princess leaving? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Should I change to another date?

peopel on the islands will miss the income but most staff look forward to seeing new places. plus msot staff only work 6 -9 months then 3 months off.

 

I would love that cruise so go for it.
