karena1 Posted March 12, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2008 Beer is usually around $4.00 or so for domestic, plus 15% tip. A "bucket: of beer which is 6 cans of Miller Lite for example, is around $24 if I remember right. I have the wine, but can't remember how much I pay for it by the glass. cb at sea Posted March 12, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2008 Cocktails run from $5.50-$8.50 or so--depending on quality of liquor and complexity of the drink! A regular cocktail (gin and tonic, rum and coke, etc...) are very strong. The foo-foo drinks are expensive and are NOT strong--so a plain drink is a better value! Some do and from a recent poll it appears as though approximately 90% do not get caught. Generally if you are caught they just confiscate it and you can get it back the last day, but they do mention on their website that they reserve the right to boot you off the ship for sneaking alcohol on boardl; barring extraneous circumstances (i.e. sneaking in giagantic quantities are being nasty to staff when caught) it is highly unlikely they would do more than confiscate the alcohol.
