Pier Upgrade cost for 4 night cruise

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows what the price of a pier upgrade on a 4 night cruise. I know it is a slim possibility to get them but just wondering. I am happy with my room now, I am in an OV on deck 4 on Monach in May. But If I could upgrade at the pier for a nominal fee that would be great too.

It will totally depend upon the sailing! If the ship is almost full, prices will be higher than if they have plenty of rooms. Don't get to the pier expecting a suite to be available for next to nothing---suites are booked months and months in advance!

Is the cost of an upgrade cheaper at the pier than say an upgrade a few days before the cruise?

I am not sure they even do pier upgrades anymore, my last trip on Monarch, we were in an ocean view on deck 8 and there was one cabin that sat empty all weekend, because of a no show, they did not move anyone from an inside to that cabin. Monarch usually sells pretty close to full and the superior cabins go first as there are so few of them.
