DeclanDeclan Posted March 18, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2008 Does anyone know the carry on liquor policy for the Caribbean Princess. We booked it for July, 2008 and were wondering if we can carry on a few bottles. We were on the Queen Mary in February and there was no proble with carry ons. But last year on the Norwegian Dawn that took the bottles out of your suit case after the X ray machine picked them up. Thanks.
LARGIN Posted March 18, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2008 Official Princess policy is one bottle of wine or champagne per person, no hard liquor or beer, however.. :D:D:D

There are plenty of tactics folks seem to take to bring their own alcohol on board, but personally I like this new one the best: http://www.rumrunnerflasks.com/ Just got mine in the mail yesterday. Looking forward to breaking them in! :D
Luckyroot Posted March 18, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 18, 2008 Last October we sailed on the Crown Princess. We brought 3 boxes of wine to enjoy in our cabin and balcony. Packed separately and nothing was said or confiscated. We packed a copy paper box filled with the wines and also a Pint of Vodka. No problems. NCL is MUCH stricter, they don't let anything thru. Salty Dawg Posted March 18, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 18, 2008 Pack your hard liquor or beer in suitcases that you will check with the porters at the dock. Do not put any liquor in your carryon or it may be confiscated.
