SuzanneE Posted September 27, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2004  We are going on the Coral Princess in Jan. Has anyone been on this excursion? If so, is it worth the money? I am Canadian so we add another 40% on to the price. Some say it is too hot, others say it is great. This is our first time into the canal, a partial transit. I will prebook it if it is a good trip. Any advice is welcome Sue
Nitemare Posted September 27, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2004 There's lots of discussion about this excursion already on this board, page down and you should see it. It's the best excursion my wife and I have taken other than the Norwejian Fjords and Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland.
mii Posted September 28, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2004 I will back up Nitemare in that it was a thoroughly enjoyable excursion and would do it again. It gives you a different prospective in that we went through the Gatun Locks on the Coral Princess then the other two locks we were on about a 200 passenger boat and really saw a different way of going through the locks. Unbelieveable. Highly recommend it. Marilyn
SuzanneE Posted September 28, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted September 28, 2004 Thanks for the 2 replies. How long is the bus ride back to the ship?
