moped rentals?

hi guys when we are in St. Thomas next week we would like to rent mopeds (motor scooters) we thought that would be a fun way to see the island. doese anyone know where the closest place to the cruise ship doc is to rent mopeds? or even the name of a company? thanks in advance everyone

Traffic where the ship docks is crazy :eek: . And, folks in the Virgin Islands drive on the opposite side of the road from us on the mainland. You may want to reconsider renting a moped on St. Thomas and rent one on St. John instead.

You might find it more enjoyable. It's not as congested there and you won't spend your time dodging cars. Plus, the island is a national park. You should be able to find a scooter rental agency within walking distance of the ferry dock in Cruz Bay on St. John.

 

You may also want to consider renting a jeep if you are not experienced with a scooter/moped.

 

Both islands have steep hills.
