Familycruzer11 Posted March 20, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2008 We are a group of 6 - as young as 9, as old as 73 with a couple of teens and parents. I have two tours presently booked for ST. Johns. Champagne Catamaran Sail to St. John (I believe this is to Honeymoon Beach). Snorkel/Swim Trunk Bay Why the dilemna? Heard Trunk Bay was not to be missed - cool snorkel trail. etc, and slower, easier ride there Heard wonderful things about the CHampagne Catamaran sail, that elderly people were okay on it - great beach, and well, champagne! Anyone done or familiar with either/ both, and given 'who' we are - recommendations?? THanks in advance!
bobnatt Posted March 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2008 Last month I took a catamaran tour from St Thomas to Honeymoon beach on Dancing Dolphins. We did not enjoy the tour. First it is an 1 1/2 sail each way from Charlotte Amalie and second, and more importantly, the currents at honeymoon Beach were incredibly strong. I don't know if we just had a bad day or what but the tour was a diappointment and we are huge snorkeling fans. My recommednation is to go on the Trunk Bay tour and buy a bottle of champagne and bring it with you.
