B2B & luggage if not in same cabin HELP ASAP

Recommended Posts

I knew I could count on my fellow folks on CC for the answer. We could do the same cabin, but are cheapskates:D . we are doing 2 shorts to get to the next level (just in case the rumors are true;) )--good excuse anyway & only need 3 credits & the price difference pays for flights, sooooooo. Unfortunately can't get the cabins on the same deck.

Thanks everyone for your experiences. UNLESS we change our minds & go with 2 JS, I will book with 2 different entities--want to get the best OBC. For any who have done a b2b booking with 2 different TAs (1 would be RCCL & other a TA)--did you notify the guest relations upon embarkation that you were doing a B2B?

Thanks again all

you need to 1) tell RC and the TA you are doing a B2B and have them contact the B2B desk to link the ressies......you will NOT be able to access the one you book with RC once it is linked (via their website)-all you will be able to do is your setsail pass.. if they aren't linked, you won't get your letter-and it kind of messes them up. they will know you are on a b2b.

choose mailed documents....i was NEVER able to access the emailed ones, even with numerous calls to RC...the link was never available...and the help desk said it was due to being a back to back

also, ASK if the same cabin is open....sometimes, it wont show up, but will be open. we were going to stay in one, but moved due to noise.

they WILL move your bags....you have to pack whatever is NOT hanging...they will move it all!

you will be escorted OFF the ship after everyone else, thru customs & immigration, then BACK...you are NOT allowed to take anything off the ship except your purse, etc as you are considered 'in transit'. (you can take your camera, laptop-valusables...but no souveniers, luggage, etc)

if you do NOT get a letter, see guest relations. you should get your new seapass cards...BTW at YOUR convenience, go to GR and make sure your on board account is set up. the letter states they will link your new seapass to the CC from the 1st cruise but they will mess this up! (did it to us...made THEM fix it rather than go back to get my credit card out of the safe!)

it''s really fun though.......you already know your way around the ship, the crew knows you.....have fun!
