dont know yet. vactions are up in the air with the baby comming. we would love to do the med that we missed but thats a very tiring itinerary. a good question comes to mind......how old should a child be for its first cruise?

Ya know, I can tell you something about that!! On the 2/23 Summit, we had a couple from (of all places!) Yellowknife, Canada on the rollcall. They travelled with Nolan who was just 3 mos & Luke who (I think) was like 2+ or 3! Anyway, Eric & Lori were incredibile!!! They left Luke one day in the "day care" on the ship and went on an all day excursion in Costa Rica with Nolan. Lori Ziplined with us while Eric took Nolan on a walking jungle tour! This child NEVER peeped in 8 hours!!!!

They also took Nolan to dinner (late seating) every night as child care is NOT available to anyone under (again I think) 1 year on Celeb. He never caused a problem 'cuz he never peeped!!!

What Lori DID tell me was Celeb has strict rules for child care in cabins (age restrictions) so I would say be sure to check that out first, then plan an itinerary accordingly so you can be with your child when you need to & know what excursions you can/cannot do!

I was so impressed with Eric & Lori, we saw them everywhere with those adorable children, they really enjoyed their cruise!!!

I was just on the Mercury and there were lots of small kids...not many "teenager range". The small ones...I noticed lots of them...and they were all cutie patooties too [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]. I really did take notice and their parents were excellent (in my opinion). I hardly ever saw a crying child or one that "ran around unattended". They were all very well behaved...again, I noticed many in the 2-5 age range. Don't ask me why...but I just noticed them LOL

Next up...HORIZON Sept 18th to Bermuda!

I also noticed a lot of toddlers on the Mercury and as Lois mentioned , all well behaved.

Personally, I was glad to see you go Duck and was sorry to hear it was just an April fool's joke. The only other poster I would have preferred to see go would be Newt. Newt, much like Duck, has never posted anything worthwhile. Only difference between the two - at least Duck has taken a cruise.
