Sounds great Shiona - Maybe we can have a few Martinis and go on "Wanker Patrol". LOL :p

Cheers

Ok then. Can I ask if you have cruised on the Sun Princess under the "p&o" branding (selected cruises which were launched before the other big announcement that it was here for longer than orignally planned) do we get the P&O discount off our next cruise?

Really good question. Even though Princess Oz ended up changing the cruises back to pretty much a Princess spec (24hr buffet, N\C for pizza, room service & snacks, Captains circle perks etc), it was a P&O operated cruise at the time of booking. I guess it is worth asking that question to a customer service rep.

....or the special 2:30am competition - Toss the tosser. Any who can get them to clear the starboard railing gets bonus points. Will be announced in the Princess Patter (Sun Princess).

big misunderstanding everyone - please accept my apologies - sometimes frustration gets the better of us.

to clarify, whilst Sun Princess is sailing within Australian waters, she is still classified as a Princess Ship, not P&O (from my understanding when i recently contacted P&O to book a future cruise).

anyhow, thanks for the complete let down guys, hope we can all move forward and lets just enjoy the forums on here :D

thanks

Cruise_Boy... i so know u! ur prob thinking 'hmm stalker' lol, na u were in my training group 4 a few days:)

Sun Princess is still a Princess ship.. Being based in aus hasnt really changed the demographics of people on board i think due to the cost and lack of 4 berth cabins.. its fantastic it has opened a whole new market of cruising all year round because some people would never travel p&o aus. having cruises start from syd and freemantle at the moment and when the dawn priness comes the sun will then be based in melbourne, it has made it more accessible for people as well

Well, it seemed a good idea at the time of booking- but I must admit the guilt is setting in abit now!

We will take them on the next cruise(wherever and whenever that may be!!;) )

But on the other hand I think it will be great to have a holiday without them!:) It has never happened before!

Don't need an apology as such. All opinions are valued, and it has been confusing enough getting Sun Princess info over the past year (even customer service would give you a different answer each time). I am aware from last years experience how frustrating it can be to get conflicting info, even from those that are supposed to have the facts.

Still, those in the business are being fed press releases for P&O and Princozz from the same media company, signed off by their CEO Ann Sherry. And us cruisers needed to ask our questions somewhere, and this is the most suitable place.

Bummer, but to be honest for 2 nights, you cant really expect too much can ya, I think it would be rather relaxing just cruising up the coast for a day :)

It is! We did the south bound Pacific Sun cruise in March and had a wonderful time. It really was a mini cruise - nearly everything that's done on a 7-10 night cruise seemed to be crammed into the 2 nights and 1 day.

i thought this cruise was on a waitlist? hmm ill hav 2 check it out:rolleyes: .. would be good fun.. but the only thing that would suck is flying back from brissy:(

The main discussion on this thread is for the 2 night Syd - Melb and Melb to Syd relocation cruises on Sun Princess. Not aware of any waitlists on these.
