mikebz Posted April 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2008 Hi, I was thinking of taking Monarch through the Panama Canal. Usually, I don't worry too much about what's available on board, but this is a smaller ship, and several activities are not available, such as Chops, Portofino, etc.. What can I expect on this ship, and what can I expect at the ports of call through the Canal. I am especially interested in the port in Columbia. martinchem Posted April 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2008 You can still eat at the other restaurants available on the ship.

cyscopup Posted April 2, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2008 The ports for the cruise are all fantastic. We did the Canal on the Serenade and had a great time, much the same itin. However we did not consider the Monarch for the Canal, the ship is great for the four day and three day cruises and we really enjoy the company of the crew.
