Where to Eat

The Hampton is adjacent to the Rennaissance Hotel, formerly the Doubletree and there is a short pavement from the Hampton to the parking lot of the Rennaissance. I haven't dined at the Rennaissance, so I can't comment, but your dining options at the Hampton are limited to local delivery, pizza or chinese. I always have a car when travelling in this area so I head up to the Spanish/Portuguese restaurants in the Ironbound section of Newark. One of my favorites, the Spanish Tavern (http://www.spanishtavern.com) has a free shuttle service weekdays. Your stay is on a Sunday night, so call the manager and ask if they will send the shuttle over, I don't think Sundays are that busy, so you should be in luck.
