bridke Posted April 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2008 Should we take a taxi or shuttle to the port from the airport (Miami)? Does anyone know the cost of each one? TIA
cruisin4kicks Posted April 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2008 Taxi from MIA to the port is a set rate of $24 (plus tip) unless it has recently gone up. Very convenient... about a 15 to 20 minute ride. Don't know how much a shuttle is there. Cab is SO much more convenient. Tim
cb at sea Posted April 10, 2008 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2008 Just get your bags, and head outside to the taxi stand--they will be lined up, just waiting for passengers! Same thing on the return to the airport--plenty of taxis!
PhoenixCruiser Posted April 10, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2008 Agree with both of the previous posters, it is so much easier and faster to take a cab. Nothing worse than being the first one on the shuttle and have to wait around for the other passengers. ###

yogimax Posted April 10, 2008 #6 Share Posted April 10, 2008 I asked the same question about a week ago and was also told the cab fare is $24. I then read that there might be a $1 fuel surcharge. I would also assume the price does not include tip.
