Can you climb Chichen Itza?

Really the only "tall" ruins you can climb to the top of are at Coba. There is talk of stopping that also. We hope to do that in June. We climbed to the top of Chichen Itza a couple of times in the past, I miss not being able to do that. Tourists not been able to climb to the top of the temple at Chichen Itza for a couple of years. I understand why, still miss it.

We were on a Caravan tour and went to Palenque and Uxmal. We were able to climb "tall" ruins at both places. It is an amazing experience! We were somewhat disappointed with Chichen Itza, you are really confined to a small area of the site. If I had my choice of Chichen Itza or Tulum, I would take Tulum. The temple overlooking the sea is so beautiful ( even though you see it in all sorts of advertisements) it is worth seeing in person.
