welshlass Posted April 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2008 We are thinking of doing the back to back Christmas and New Year 2009 on Oceana has anybody stayed in these restricted view cabins? Is any one cabin better for view or are you better just going for an inside cabin?

Is any one cabin better for view or are you better just going for an inside cabin? Unless you are claustaphobic !! I would opt for an inside ---------for all the time you are in your Stateroom in the Caribbean-I would not bother a restricted View . A balcony perhaps !!! ? But I opt for an inside every year . holiday queen 500 Posted September 18, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2009 Hello, we stayed in a MA grade on Oceana mainly as we really wanted daylight in the cabin and it was a good price compared to a balcony. It was just fine, a bit bigger than my parents inside cabin, however no real view but we did at least know if it was the middle of the night or morning when we woke up. I've attached a couple of pictures, we'd pushed the beds to one side so we could fit the cot in, but you get the idea of the window. Tracy
madison quest Posted September 21, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 21, 2009 hi there, we stayed in a ma cabin on d deck number 617, it did have a few bits of life boat gantry outside but you could easily see the sea form the window and the light was not shaded much at all. hope this helps:)

boysmum Posted September 23, 2009 #8 Share Posted September 23, 2009 Looking at the deck plan it looks like your view will be the same as the one in the photo, I am expecting the same view

LEESRE Posted September 29, 2009 #10 Share Posted September 29, 2009 Best options on MA grades in our opinion are D609,D617, D610 and D614 have stayed in these cabins and you can see quite clearly through the window, just gantry in your way. Cabin D605 is larger but has a large lifeboat infront of it.
boysmum Posted September 30, 2009 #11 Share Posted September 30, 2009 Thanks, she did try and get us one of these rooms but they were booked  We have always done inside cabins and I hate not knowing it is morning, so am looking forward to knowing that there will be some light in the room.
