Cabo snorkeling advice

How is the snorkeling in Santa Maria Cove and Chileno Bay near Cabo San Lucas? Which one is the best spot to go snorkeling in May? What is the approximate water temperature? Any advice is welcomed to thanks in advance.

Not sure about your locations, but at Lover's Beach by Los Arcos it was a bit chilly but snorkelable. The kids used their rash guard tops which kept them warmer.

Chileno Bay and Playa Santa Maria are the best, IMO, the Los Cabos area has to offer. My preference between the two is Chileno but both locations are a short distance from each other so you could easily try both. Just returned from Cabo last weekend; water temperature at Playa El Bledito (Hilton & Melia Cabo Real resorts) was chilly, estimated in the high 60's/low 70's.
