Parking At The Pier In Manhattan

HI, I have a couple of questions regarding parking at the pier. Do you pay when you drop your car off, or pick your car up? Can it be paid with a credit card? Also, if I am not mistaken I heard the cost was $30 a day.

Thanks in advance

Did a Google Search for NYC ports and found a website that answers your questions. Here's the info I found:

Parking is conveniently located above each of the piers. Drive up the Viaduct Ramp at 55th Street to the receiving area adjacent to their cruise vessel's berth.

Parking Rates Effective 4/1/08

  • Daily rate (up to 10 hours) for drop offs/visitors
    $25.00
  • Cruise parking
    $30.00 per night
  • Cruises from 10 to 30 nights
    $300.00

Please Note:

Taxes are included in the rates. Payment accepted in cash, visa and master card.

We do not accept reservations. Space is subject to availability and is provided to cruise parkers on a first come, first serve basis.

For Ports America (Terminal Operator) Parking Information, call (212) 641-4454.

Additional parking lots are located at 59th Street.

We just returned from our Gem cruise out of NYC.

We drove up to the garage on top of the pier and paid $210 for our 7 days using our MasterCard.

After we passed the bomb-sniffing dogs and parked our car, we walked to the large elevator with all of our luggage and went down to the ground level after which we gave a porter our larger suitcases.

We went into the lobby with our carry-ons before boarding.
