FLL hotel group of 36

Staying 1 night precruise in FLL with a group of 36. online site quoting 75.00-325.00, Brick and mortar TA quoting nothing under 175.00. Is is safe to book a group through an online agency? :eek: Don't want to be surprised or disappointed. Going 2/28-3/1/09 arriving FLL 5pm, want dinner,some beverages, and a comfortable bed.

Looking for something with a pool and breakfast, shuttle service would be a plus.

For a group of 36 you should be calling the hotel directly and speaking with the group sales department.

choose a couple hotels, CALL the sales department...they WILL work with you. and if you are really bored and like one over another but it is more money, play one off the other.....

 

as they say..."heads in beds!"

 

for a group of that many people, do NOT book online!

We had a group of 22 this past Feb. 23 and stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Hollywood, FL for a rate of $159 per night plus tax. They offer free shuttle from airport to hotel and free shuttle from hotel to cruise port. And a nice breakfast. Also they offer free parking if anyone is leaving a car there.

I took your advise and called several hotels the result is Holiday Inn Sunrise for 99.00 per night with hot breakfast for 2 per room. shuttle from airport and to cruiseport the next day 20.00 per person.

a group of 36 one would think some kind of good deal is there

for the taking:D
