Make super sure whatever you buy is accepted at your international spots. Some are particular. Check out global.com if you travel internationally a lot.

If you're looking for a card that will allow you to call FROM a foreign city TO the U.S, then wait until you get to the port where you wish to make a call! (The cards are readily available at each port). If you buy a card in the States, it's for calling From the States TO a foreign city!
