You use cash in the casino, but you can also obtain cash at the casino cage by signing for it and the charge will simply go against your onboard account like any other shipboard expense (not as a cash advance).

So does this mean that the Slot machines only use cash ? I was just wondering, I remember the Carnival Fasination lets you use your sail and sign card right in the slot machine by asking what amount you would like, such as $20, or $50, then it on your account. We only play the slots.

Cash only can't use sail & sign card. They are ticket in ticket out or cash slot machines. Love the Pearl casino, was very good to us!:D

Oh my gosh, I shudder to even consider that thought. Getting that bill at the end of the week must be a real bummer. It's right there in black and white how much you spent in the casino! I'd rather put cash in one $20 at a time and then I can fool myself as to how much I really spent! :D

On the Pearl the machines take bills. I also did pretty well on several of the slot machines at night - my nightly ritual before bed.

Cash in bills but ticket in/ticket out after you put the $20 in. There is no service charge for putting the cash you get from the casino cage on your sign and sail, however on the Jewel we did have to get $100 at once.
