angie2003 Posted October 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2004 Can anyone tell me how it is that you can actually find out about the first voyage of a new ship. I am confused. I read about the Ultra Voyager that will be debuting in 2006 and would love to take part but am not sure how to go about that. I recall when the Carnival Glory came out - I was searching and searching and by the time I located any info the ship had already started sailing. Of course at that time I was not reading these boards with all the knowledge and experience everyone has :)
BaumD Posted October 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2004 1. Keep reading the RCCL board on Cruise Critic. 2. Find a good TA that is very familiar w/ RCCL 3. Check the press releases regularly on RCCL.com
kitty9 Posted October 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2004 The maiden voyage is generally in Europe, since that's where most cruise ships are built. Find a good local travel agent and work with them on finding information about any maiden voyages that are coming up.
