RE: Pearl- do all cabins have these? Are the contents complimentary? If you ask the cabin steward to remove them (if they are not complimentary) has there been any problem with getting still charged? Do they take inventory daily and charge your acount or at the end of the cruise? thanks

I believe but not positive that they all have them. The items are NOT complimentary. You can have them removed, or just rearrange so you can make use of the fridge. That worked fine for us. One one other cruise they just stuck everything in the cabinet above until the end of the cruise. Be prepared when they inventory and lock the cabinet on the last night though.

They all have mini-fridges on the Pearl, including the inside cabins.

When we were on the Pearl last August, they had us take the stuff out and set all the stuff on the top shelf. They do an inventory everyday and if they miss something, you get charged. Like us. So if you need to keep the items in your room, keep an eye on your account, that's how we found out their mistake, which was taken care of the next day.:)

on embarkation day we asked our steward to remove EVERYTHING!!!! his assistant briefly questioned that and we simply said we don't want anything in it. we used it for leftover room service, for our own water bottles, for fruit etc. it was wonderful to have our OWN snack bar with our OWN selections. we did ask for a copy of our account after about 5 days...into 14 day cruise. no problem. were NOT charged. we'd also made note to ourselves of date, time, and name of person who removed the items in case there had been a problem. our steward on deck 11 was super responsible and super responsive. no complaints at all. :)

Contents are NOT complimentary;)

We always leave a "post-it note" on the fridge for the cabin stewards to empty the contents - always done - no problem:)
