Has anyone done the Brewery tour in Juneau? DH would like to tour it but does not want to do the "taste of Juneau" tour. Can we catch a shuttle and just do a brewery tour?

Unfortunately, they don't run their own shuttles.

Yes, I've taken their tour. You can get there via city bus, or if you want to plan further, a car rental works out great for several stops to consider.

 

IF you take the city bus, you do need to allow plenty of time.

There are taxis at the pier. It is worth the fare & we always try to support local business. We plan on doing our 3rd brewery tour in two weeks. We just tell the driver when to come back for us. We've driven to Cheyenne, Wyoming just to get their amber beer. We're even excited to find out that you can now get it in Colorado. If you wish to see Mendenhall Glacier, they would probably include it going or coming.

Anyway, just enjoy!!
