Is Richard Spacey still a CD?

Spacey was on the Freedom as of three weeks ago and was nothing short of excellent. Not sure if he is still on there, but I didn't hear anything to the contrary.

We just heard that Richard will be our CD on our upcoming Freedom of the Seas cruise in June. He was also our CD last time we sailed Freedom last May. We are thrilled to have him again...he was "fantastic" to use his favorite word, said in a very cute British accent! -kathleen

Racey Spacey was on Freedom last week- he's nuts but really good at what he does.

We cruised on Freedom in January and it was widely known to be his last cruise. There was a big send off for him from the staff. I guess RCCL gave him an offer he could not refuse.

We are sailing Freedom of the Seas in November. Does anyone happen to know if he will still be there? I'm afraid he might be between contracts at that time :eek:

 

BTW, do a search on youtube for his "evolution of dance" video. It is hilarious!!!

We just got off the Freedom on Sunday. Richard Spacey annouced at the farewell show that he was getting off the ship with the rest of us. He had his parents on the ship with him. I don't know if he's switching to a new ship (Oasis maybe?) or leaving RCI, but I'm guessing he's OFF the Freedom for a while...no telling if it's permanent. Anyone know???

He left FOS the same time last year and was on our flight home. i was chatting to him and he said then he didnt know when he would be going back, perhaps he likes a few months off (dont blame him) at the begining of the year. The guy is suberb. I cant imagine him doing anything else really.

Had Richard Spacey on the Freedom on New Years and he really went "full bore outlandish" and made the cruise outstanding. He is an asset to RCCL. Hope you enjoy..."I love you.....":D

He was the CD on our FOS cruise 4/26-5/3. They said onboard that he was going to Oasis next. He's top notch and I'm sure that's a move up for him.

Richard Spacey's last sailing on the Freedom of the Seas was this past weeks sailing out of Port Canaveral, May 17th sailing. It was announced that he will be the new Cruise Director of the Oasis of the Seas. Lee, the Bingo Dingo, was also announced by Richard to be taking over his Freedom of the Seas, Cruise Director position. My wife and I have never experienced Richard and we found him to be the best Royal Caribbean has to offer. He is "Over the Top" crazy and will be looking forward to him on the Oasis of the Seas.
