Luggage Tags

Has anyone ever laminated their luggage tags? I am a little troubled by them being so easy to lose, or be torn off....

 

Do you think Carnival would care if I did laminate them?

We laminated the luggage tags and even laminated one was nearly ripped in half when the bag arrived at our cabin. For us lamination is a must.

Walmart sells a very inexpensive roll of laminate in the kitchen section where you'd find contact paper and such. We used it to laminate all of our tags and brought along a roll of packing tape to attatch them to our bags when we got to our pre-cruise hotel. We didn't put them on before our flights as we didn't want to worry about them getting destroyed. These become very durable if you use the laminate to cover them and honestly all the hoopala about how hard it is makes no sense. These are actually more durable than the original ones Carnival used to send if laminated. :)

Has anyone had troubble with the Luggage tags that come in the cruise docs.. The sticky tags is what we are calling them.. Comments please

It is very simple to do, and costs very little. No, Carnival doesn't care. Their only objective is to get your luggage delivered to the correct cabin. Go for it. When you have it done, you'll be one step closer to your cruise!!!!

I plan on using the laminate, or clear packing tape and zip ties.

 

Did not look too hard fold then, put the tape/laminate on and punch a hole for the zip tie. Will give me a little art project to do the night before while we are in Tampa :D
