That's so sad. Drugging people seems to be a common way of robbing them in Italy. It happened to my 23 year old cousin a couple of years ago. He was found and brought to a hospital, but they didn't know who he was until he woke up a few days later. Beware of strangers wanting to buy you any kind of drink in Italy.

My DW and, I, not long ago,

were in a Rome subway station. We were by ourselves.

In walks about 5 females. I took one look at them

and, I decided these girls were up to "no good".

They came over and, surrounded us. I stood and, and, faced

off with them...they were ready to "rumble", I guess,

and, I was ready for the attack, when a group of about

10 people walked into the subway station.

I believe they "re-thought" their

plans, because they dispersed when the other

people got there, and, they were speaking English...

They (the females) jumped on the very next train. :rolleyes:

:eek: wow , that is very sad, its been happening forever spiking drinks, but not only to Mug you but many women become victims to this many some even have been sexually assaulted, or murdered its what this world has came down to and it sucks.:(

I never let somebody i dont know buy me a drink or food, when im out in a club or cafe, i always bring my drink with me or hubby or a good friend holds it you need to be aware of your surroundings for your own safety.My prayers go out to this poor family.
