Hey guys check this out! From the American Airlines Web site

 

Updated Checked Bag Policies

 

Customers who purchase domestic economy class tickets on or after May 12, 2008 but before June 15, 2008 may check one bag for free and check a second bag for $25 each way. Customers who purchase domestic economy class tickets on or after June 15, 2008 will be charged $15 each way for the first checked bag and $25 each way for the second checked bag. Our carry-on policy of one personal item (such as a purse or laptop bag) plus one bag remains in place.

 

Where is the Aloha in that? Oh well, we know the airlines are having a tough time with fuel prices. I sware the gas went up while I was pumping It this morning!

Delta have done something similar - 2nd checked in bag $25.

On tonights news, US Airways is will no longer even give the little bag of pretzels or peanuts in coach.

Just catching up with the rest of the World! From Australia the only place where you are allowed two pieces of luggage is travelling to America. So won't look forward to that if it changes there goes all that extra shopping:eek:
