(I prefer to boil my daughter's drinking water - just in case!) TIA I would suggest that you maybe stop by a supermarket and pick up a few gallons of distilled water to bring with you on the ship. You still wont be able to boil it, per se, but at least it wont be desalinized sea water. You could always place a standing order of "a carafe (or two) of hot water" delivered to your stateroom every morning at a particular time. mcfam5 Posted June 2, 2008 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2008 The tap water on board is fine. We used it for teeth brushing, etc. For drinking we used bottled water, which is also what we do at home. If you are concerned about the quality of water, you could also take a mini Brita water filtration pitcher/cup. Then you could filter the tap water before drinking.
