Kettles in cabins - Grand princess?

Mercury

Recommended Posts

We will be travelling in July and I would like to know if there are kettles available in the cabins? (I prefer to boil my daughter's drinking water - just in case!)

TIA

Do you do this at home?

No, not available and the water is perfectly safe.

I would suggest that you maybe stop by a supermarket and pick up a few gallons of distilled water to bring with you on the ship. You still wont be able to boil it, per se, but at least it wont be desalinized sea water.

You could always place a standing order of "a carafe (or two) of hot water" delivered to your stateroom every morning at a particular time.

The tap water on board is fine. We used it for teeth brushing, etc. For drinking we used bottled water, which is also what we do at home.

If you are concerned about the quality of water, you could also take a mini Brita water filtration pitcher/cup. Then you could filter the tap water before drinking.

Hope this helps! :D

Thanks for your replies and suggestions.

I also did a search and found another thread on the Princess boards about kettles. You may bring travel kettles on board (it is not a safety hazard) so I think this is what we'll do!

Just wanted to give an update!
