I guess his love of the sea started on the old Pacific Sky!! (Back on track I hope Walt :p ). Am so happy for him...He gets to leave home...yay!! As a parent of grown kids, I know the feeling of relief that their immediate future is settled. As a Mum I know it is wonderful news when they have been accepted into a career. His other uncles are writers and stokers, and his step mum is the captain of Cairns...definately navy family. Jen...bugger...will have to remind him NOT to make towel animals when on the grey boats. Don, Lorraine will know better than me!! Nice to see you home Lorraine. I think he is settling in OK. I get to visit in a month's time so I can see for myself. I worked in recruiting before I was discharged and I used to advise a lot of people to look at the trades - a great area to get into.
