walking in whittier

I have read how small whittier is, so is it safe to assume I can drop off my rental car at avis, walk (with luggage) to the pince william sound tour boat place, and then to the princess dock. or maybe stop at PWS first,(is there parking?) check in leave our luggage and then drop the car off and walk back? thanks, kim

I think the 2 companies in Whittier open up their luggage drop off area, between 12:30pm and 1pm. So you should be able to drop off your luggage and then return you car. It is a short 3 - 5 minute walk.

We're taking the 11:00 tour with PWS and they said they would store our luggage for us.

Whittier is small and very walkable. PWS tours will store your luggage and even shuttle you to the Princess dock afterwards.
