Should we rent a car?

We will have a day and a half in Anchorage. We are staying right downtown at the Hotel Captain Cook. Will there be enough to see in walking distance to fill that time or should we book a car so we can drive around?

 

What are the must see's in or near Anchorage?

 

This is our first trip and would appreciate any information.

There is enough to keep you busy right downtown without a car. It depends on your interests?? A car could also offer some fantastic sightseeing- Hatcher Pass, Glacier Trekking etc?? What is your priority? http://www.anchorage.net
