Safes on Fascination

Just wondering - do the staterooms have safes?

Yes, they do, I sailed her twice last year and used the safe both times.

You will need a card with a magnetic strip to use to open it-like an old gift card or old debit/credit card.

So....anyone with a magnetic strip card can open your safe? Is that really secure?

No.. it has to be the one you used to lock it, someone can correct me if I am wrong.

And DON'T use your sail and sign card. Unless they have replaced the safes, it will demagnetize your sail and sign card forcing you to go to the purser's desk to get a replacement. :o Someone locked the piece of paper with that information on it INSIDE our first ever cruise on Fascination.

That is correct, we used an old gift card from Wally World, its great peace of mind to leave the diamonds and cash while out on excursions!
