alohanails Posted June 22, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2008 I am wondering if the "Free cruise for 2" option will be available on the Oasis using BOA visa points? What do you all think? There aren't too many oceanview cabins it seems.....wonder if that's how they will get around that one? Bonnie
negc Posted June 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2008 I'm not sure on what you are basing your conclusion about the lack of oceanview staterooms. Certainly the trend in shipbuilding is to offer an increased percentage of balconied staterooms and Oasis will definitely continue this trend, but I suspect that there will still be a number of oceanview staterooms without balconies on a ship this size. We are actually using RCI Visa points for a 3 night Bahamas cruise on Jewel of the Seas out of Miami in November, 2009 to extend our time on her at the conclusion of the Boston to Miami repo cruise. We are paying the difference between the price for a standard outside room and a D1 in order to stay in the same room for all 13 nights.:)
H2Oregon Posted June 22, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2008 I would guess they will still honor the free caribbean cruise since the coupon has a dollar limit. If the rates for Oasis are more than the coupon value you will probably just have to pay the difference.

I Church Posted June 22, 2008 #5 Share Posted June 22, 2008 Does anyone know if the Casino will be open on the Radiance of the Seas south bound from Alaska? We will be going in July after a pre-cruise add-on to Fairbanks. Just wondering if we should take our gambling money along. I know gambling was not allowed on our Hawaii cruise on NCLA Pride of American last year (they didn't even have a casino). Irene & Miles

Not sure of the exact hours, but I didn't notice anything too different from the standard Caribbean sailing. Good luck! :D
cruiserbryce Posted June 22, 2008 #7 Share Posted June 22, 2008 why are we assuming that there will be a lack of OV cabins...it seems that it would have more than any of the other ships given its sheer size...
alohanails Posted June 25, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted June 25, 2008 I just thought that there would be more balconies and less OV's....we are planning to check out the Oasis sometime in late 2010.....and use points for that one....would LOVE to upgrade to one of those "sweet loft suites" as my hubby refers to them....wonder how quickly they will sell out?
