safarigal Posted June 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Thank you for sharing your photos. The ship really looks beautiful. I have also enjoyed your reviews. I know there seem to be several flaws, and she is by no means perfection, but on the whole she seems to have a lot going for her :) .

bobnatt Posted June 26, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Great photos! I was on your cruise. Do you have other pictures of the trip that you could post? Those were my best ship photos but i have tons of shore excursion photos including amazing photos of the bird boat trip and the glacier hike. Do you have anything specific in mind? Manney Posted June 26, 2008 #5 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Thanks Bobnatt, really enjoyed the exceptionally well taken photos. We're going, over a year to go alas, but even more excited now. ninabk Posted June 26, 2008 #6 Share Posted June 26, 2008 I would love to see your bird pictures and glacier hike pictures. We were on the 8:30 bird excursion and did the hike to the glacier from Olden. We also took the all day guided mountain hike, which was great, if a bit tiring. We have a little Canon Elf digital camera, which really did not capture the majesty of the surroundings. I also have an account at Kodak Gallery, so could make copies. I will try to upload my pictures in the next few days.

gardenbunny Posted June 27, 2008 #13 Share Posted June 27, 2008 Excellent - these are some of the best I have seen to date. I was thinking of taking the trip that goes to St Petersburg in 2009 on this ship - It looks beautiful - I may now definitely consider it. Vic The Parrot Posted June 27, 2008 #15 Share Posted June 27, 2008 Thanks for the photos ... nice job. It's a shame that the promenade deck doesn't go 360 (not to mention being rubber-coated ... ) Hope they fix that on the new QE.
Titanorac9370 Posted June 29, 2008 #16 Share Posted June 29, 2008 Great photos, thanks for sharing them with us. Having never sailed on QM2 or QV would I be correct in saying that QM2 looks better on the outside whereas Vicky has got it nailed on the inside?
