Room question?

cArnival is offering an upgrade on some of their sailings. It means you are getting an 8C cabin for the price of an 8A. Just make sure your cabins are sandwiched between other cabins, or you have some noise issues.

The number, in this case 8, represents the type of cabin..(ie: Balcony, OV, etc) The letter, which is C, represents the floor. The highr the floor, the higher the level. (ei: bottom floor A, Lido deck F)

It is based on a rate for level A, most likely because you received a free upgrade, from level A to C.

Note: not every floor has a balcony or OV, on some ships there might not be an A or B, etc. because they do not exist until higher up on the ship.

It looks like you moved from the "upper" deck to the "verandah" deck which is a few floors up to the "Verandah" deck

Hope this helps.

Kris
