Monoco to Eze

Recommended Posts

Hello

We will be in Monoco in Sept and would like to go to Eze.

Has anyone out there done this by train, bus etc? We have no problem walking up to the village but need info on how to get there.

Thank you

It's probably best to go by bus (#112 runs between Eze Village and Monaco). If you go by train, you would need to transfer to a bus to get from Eze Bord du Mer up to Eze Village.

I suggest doing a search as there are several recent threads explaining the options by bus and train. A search of "Monaco to Eze" will bring up a number of threads (be sure to spell Monaco with an 'a').

As the previous post says, take the bus. Trust me that trying to walk from the Eze/Bord sur Mer train station up to Eze is not an efficient way to spend ones' time. Its quite a bit further than it might seem, and its pretty much all uphill.

We took taxi's to and from Eze. Yes - more expensive than trains or buses but very convenient.

Would you mind giving us an idea of the cost of the taxis. Did you make arrangements ahead of time? Did you take one each way? Are taxis available on Sundays? Sorry for all the questions. Just looking for alternatives to the ship's shore excursions.

Thanks,

Terri
