Kudos to NCL Dawn....

While not HAL, I'm sure HAL crews would do the same.

 

Two separate rescues at sea. One sailboat with a sailor needing emergency medical care was rescued off Cape Cod.

 

Within hours, another distress call reached Dawn about a person with a severe head injury needing medical help. They rescued that person as well.

 

Forty mph winds....rough seas.

 

Dawn just docked in Bermuda.

Lucky for those people that a cruise ship (or any other ship - freighter) was handy!!

I actually saw this story on the news at 11, from New York, last night and was surprised that there was nothing on this site about it.

 

Very good job. Quite the accomplishment - 2 rescues in just a few hours! Talk about being in the right place, at the right time.

 

Congrats to the Captain and crew for a job well done!
