Please enjoy our cruise and ask any questions you may have. We will try to answer and post photos as we enjoy the week.

Keith my husband, Randi our 22 year old and her husband will also be joining us.

BUT First we will host a 4th of July party for my husband's work group of 40+, fly to Tampa on Saturday, spend the night, rent a car and drive over to Port Canaveral.

May the fun begin!!!!:D

one more thing...are you Plat or Diamond, can you tell me what benefits you are getting? we leave for Mariner 8/31, it will be my 2nd cruise as diamond and we're trying to plan our week:)

Keith, Maggie and I are Diamond. Our other two are not. So I will let you know how that goes.

We are staying at the Marriott at the Tampa Airport because our flight gets in late. I hope it will be fairly easy at midnight.

THANK YOU!! We will be on the ship the following week...July 13th...on our first RCCL cruise, and really look forward to your posts. Hopefully I will get even more excited!!

NClprincess cruiser You should come join the roll call for the Mariner July 13 sailing. We have a really fun group.

OP thanks for doing a live report. It will help me pass the last week waiting my turn. It would be great if you could find out who the cruise director will be for July 13th. I know they should be getting close to changing.

Thanks and have a great time!!

Will be there!

Was on the Mariner in Jan and will be on her again in Feb for the LA inaugural. We enjoyed her so much.

Have a Wildberry Lava Flow for me. Yum...

I brought home 4 sloozie glasses (each drink cost 10.00 with glass) and hope to bring home 4 more in Feb.

Hopefully they still have them.

Have a wonderful cruise.

My husband and I will be doing the same itinerary on the Mariner in early August and would really appreciate it if you could list the dinner entrees each night - especially Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We're trying to decide which night to book Chops instead.

Have a wonderful cruise!

I will be happy to let you know the entrees each night. I have not been on Mariner before and I just can't wait. But I did not think the Voyager Class ships had Chops. Can someone answer this? I know we will have a Portofino's, yum yum.:D

This will also be the first ship we have been on with a Vintages, Oh Boy.;) I know where I will be spending some time when the casino is not going the right direction.

Yes the Mariner has both Chops and Portofino's.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and are sailing on the Mariner on August 31. Can you let us know who the concierge is and I would love to get an idea of what is served at dinner each night so I can make our online reservations for Chops.

Thanks.

Enjoy your cruise, looking forward to your posts.

Hey KIMQ - thanks so much for bringing us along ! We sail the Mariner (Eastern) with friends on 10/12 and are getting so excited. We have a balcony, with our friends across the hall in a promenade cabin on deck six. We'll have the best of both worlds being able to hang out on our deck and then people and parade watch in their cabin. I hope we have picked one with a good view.

Have a safe trip and we'll all be "coming aboard" with you on Sunday:)

Have a fabulous time Kimq!!

Menu's are obviously the #1 request -

I need to make 2 specialty reservations -birthday for hubby and 1st wedding aniversary for son and dil!!

I have heard (read) so much about certain dishes that I do not want to miss though - vidalia tart, escargot, etc... SO -your help is much needed and certainly MOST APPRECIATED!

Thanks, and again, ENJOY!

Hi KimQ, When you get your first compass it will list the captain and cruise director. I am curious who those will be. Also I read a review that the headliner entertainment was excellent recently so would love to know who was on your sailing. Thanks!

Kim and Maggie,

How nice of you to post while you are on vacation. I'll be sailing on Mariner on 8/3. I was wondering if you would find out who the cruise director will be on the 8/3 sailing and also if you could find out the names and country of origin of the figure skaters in the ice skating show. Thanks so much, and enjoy your cruise. Bon Voyage!!

As we will be cruising with 2 19 year old boys(well young men) I was wondering if your daughter would put in a few comments too.

We also have 2 16 year old girls (2 families travelling together)

Maggie will be adding her point of view. I think that will help give the cruise a different look and feel than just mine.

Here is Maggie on one of our other vacations.

i also agree that the number one request is the menu's. i will be sailing on her at the end of september, and we are also trying to decide which night to go to chops for our honeymoon. we will be doing an eastern itinerary also, so this will work out nice....

Thanks! Looking forward to learning more about the Mariner ... we will be celebrating our 35th anniversary on her in August. Like most others interested in the best days for chops/portafino's ... activities in the evenings .. do they have the murder mystery dinner? ... price to play bingo (although I usally get a "welcome back" for that!)...and anything and everything else. Jan
