:) I am looking for a hotel near the port of Jacksonville. If any hotel has shuttle service to the port and also shuttle from airport to hotel

Hi Wendy:) ....our airport is about 12 miles from the port. There is a "ROW OF HOTELS/MOTELS along "Airport Road". I'm not sure which offer shuttles to the port but most of them have one to pick you up at the airport.

I have also read where a brand new "Holiday Inn Express" has opened...I believe it is located closer to the Port on Heckcsher Drive. I don't know what sort of transportation they are offering either.

I didn't know Jacksonville had a port or any ships leaving out of there. Which ship? How many do they have? Could you please email me with this as we might be moving to the Jacksonville Area? Shanicans@netzero.com....thanks

Hi, CELEBRITY has the Zenith sailing out of Jacksonville for a part of the year only.....usually from November through March.

 

Carnival also has a ship but I am not sure which one. You might want to check on the Carnival Board or their website.

Carnival's Celebration is now sailing from Jax Port.

 

As for the hotel info I read someplace on this message board that the Holiday Inn Airport will do aiport pickup with reservation and has a shuttle to the port if you sign up early. Carnival offers a $15.00 return trip from port to airport you can book on board like you would a shore excursion.
