wheresmypalmtree Posted July 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2008 Greetings all, we are off to Barbados in January on the Gem. This is a new port for us, so whats neat to do? We love beaches and snorkeling, do not like boat shore excursions when you have to hurry up and wait. We like uncrowded areas, as well as unique spots. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanx, Lin
barbados Posted July 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2008 "We want unique and uncrowded"....... How's this? : Crane Beach, Barbados If it looks good to you, there is a thread below this entitled "Crane Beach" that will give you all the details. Have a great visit! :)
Aplmac Posted July 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2008 Crane is real nice..no two ways about that! A bit far out, mind you... Accra Beach at Rockley is also nice -and a lot closer to the ship. ..but like 'Barbados' above suggests you need to start trawling thru the many informative threads on this board to dizzy your head with all sorts of suggestions. This is an island with much to do. 'Beach' is just one small option -you can do that in Antigua if you like..
