Anyone been on Dawn in 9736?

Just booked our 3rd NCL (been quite a while) on the Dawn for Bermuda. Curious about the cabin. It's aft (first for us) and I've seen different configurations for the cabin. Is it a decent cabin? Much movement back there? Any info you can render is appreciated! Of course, no matter where you are, any cruise, any cabin, is a good one! Thanks

No wind, no noise & fresh baked bread everyday (the smell anyway)

Check out our webshots link May 2005 9236.

You love it

9738 is a Penthouse right next to 'our' lowly BA #9738. Cannot comment on the size or the amenities, but the location is wonderful. Man, I had forgotten all about that lovely smell emanating from the bakery somewhere below. Do we like stern (aft) cabins? See our signature.

We were in 9236 on the June 8, 2008 sailing to Bermuda (same cabin but on the starboard side). We had a similar AE on the Pearl in Alaska last year and are booked for another AE on the Pearl in the Caribbean this winter. We like it and the extras that come with the penthouse. We had no movement issues on either past cruise and have really enjoyed the view. We had a BB on the Jewel transatlantic and found ourselves sitting in "the great outdoors" which is a cafe on the aft portion of deck 12 because we liked the sound of the wake and did not want to be bothered with too much wind while sitting outside reading. Neither of our previous trips in an AE had rough seas so we don't know what it would be like in that instance, but assume the ship is set up to keep the screws firmly in the water and since we are directly over them, figure it should not have too much excess movement. Cabin size is more than comfortable for 2 and on the Alaska trip our 3 kids had an inside around the corner but spent most of the time in our cabin and we did not feel crowded at all. The only real down side we noticed was the long walk at the end of the day, whether it is coming from a show in the Stardust Theater or the Spinnaker Lounge. Monty's photos, with the exception of a bit of decor change, are still accurate as of June 2008. As we book future cruises we will continue to try to get the same cabin.
