Northern lights ???

My cruise has sunsets at about 8:30 pm is there a chance we will see it on the cruise? I'll stay up late if there is a chance wish we were doing Danali but can't do to work issues. So it is cruise only for us.

 

Love to see some lights !!!!!

click on #5, plan ahead and look at north of 60° (about the latitude of sitka)

magic 8-ball says "North of 60° latitude, aurora viewing very limited May 15 through August 1. The auroral index should be 3 or more to see it south of this latitude."

 

it's also usually too light or too overcast during the summer. ain't that a bitch?
