We prefer not ot drive as we're not faniliar with the neighborhood. We will also have luggage and an infant care seat. What's your advice? Thanks a bunch. crusinmama06 Posted July 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2008 Taxi is the cheapest and easiest when you are in Miami. Here's what you do.... --Grab your luggage - go out the door at baggage claim and look for the "TAXI" sign and the desk --An airport exmployee will ask how many in your family and radio for a taxi (which usually arrives in a minute or two) --They hand you a slip of paper with a number to call if you had ANY problems with your taxi --IGNORE the people trying to grab you when you walk out of baggage claim --There is a flat rate - for a normal taxi it's $26. But you can get one for 5 and pay per person.
