very good review so far...agree with the others that you have a beautiful family...your kids look charming, and your little girl is like a princess all dressed up...I hope you post some reviews of your excursions and ports of call:)

Reading your review has me very excited about our upcoming trip. Do you have any Camp Carnival info?

We have Camp Carnival Capers for all levels except 15-17 still have to scan them

Ship activies

Other than the slide, the pool was a popular area even though DW found them to be a tad too small. I found the sports bar to be really nice and of course the Camel Casino where I hit 3 of a kind in 3 card poker. A few nights the DW and I went to the Cinn A Bar to sing along with Russell, the Glory piano man. Another favorite attraction was the 24hr Ice Cream Cones. Another fav place to get some junk food was "Creams" where my DD loved the tuxedo strawberries, DW loved the cheesecake and I loved the Black Forest Cake. Caught the Welcome Aboard show which was quite good. Living in America show, Comedy Show Al Earnst (rated R show too), Justin Illusion show was ok nothing great, and Comedy show of Tony Albano and JR McCollom (missed his R rated show but I have no doubt it was great). Too bad we had to put up w/ CD Butch at all of them...he is so irritating! Just a few pics of favorite things on board the Glory.

First stop: COZUMEL

Activity 1: Dolphinairs/Swim and Ride with the Dolphins

We booked this excursion on our own, not through the ship. We found a lot of helpful info right here on CC so we did everything on our own and saved a TON of money for sure. Dolphinaris was a short walk from the dock, maybe 10-15 minutes. DD, DS, and I really enjoyed this. We got to spend about 45 minutes interacting with the dolphins. DW took photos, this was prob the highlight of DD trip. They have a resturant there, we did not eat there but it looked good. They took some fabulous photos of us and a DVD of our event, spent $134 on that stuff.

Waiting to hear about the ports and your excursions - did they switch Roatan and Belize as they have done recently?

Also can't wait to see the Capers!

Thanks!

Yes they did switch. We booked our own excursions but trust me they monitor the ships

Cozumel (cont)

Activity 2: Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville

After the swim with the dolphins we walked back toward the ship and the DW found Margaritaville and we HAD to go inside. We had fun there, the wait staff all dance and sing, kids enjoyed balloon hats, DW enjoyed her margarita and I enjoyed the 20oz Corona. Dont let the prices scare you, everything is priced in pesos. So my beer was 650 pesos or $6.50 US dollars...LOL.

Cozumel (continued)

Activity 3: Shopping

DW wanted to look for some silver, she loves Tiffany's stuff and we got quite a chuckle out of one of the stores she saw. While we walked along the mall area DD saw a stand that had a monkey to pet and take pics with for $5.00. It was some type of educational program so we did not mind the $5.00 and DD enjoyed holding the monkey. After walking around the shops we headed back to the ship, this was our 3rd time to Cozumel so been there done that.

2nd stop Roatan Island, Honduras

We decided to take it easy in this port. Thanks to CC we found out about Fins N Flippers. It is a beautiful private beach/snorkel/pool area. It was so quiet, hardly anyone there. Still must be a secret...saw several crew members there though. We snorkeled a bit and have the coral scratches to prove it! The water was very clear and beautiful. DW and DD had fun laying by the water building sand castles. After awhile at the beach area we used the pool which was quite refreshing. Had some lunch adn a few Coronas at the resturant. Just one complaint was that they forgot my DW lunch and kept saying it was coming and after seeing 3 other people get what she ordered we just asked for our money back, no harm no foul.

3rd Stop Belize

We booked our own excursion in Belize as well for 2 reasons, 1. Carinival would not allow my 5 year old to do the cave tubing 2. We saved probably $200! Seriously! We went with Major Tom's Cave tubing thanks to some excellent reviews on CC. They did not disappoint! "Money Mike" was our main guide and he was TERRIFIC! We were met at the tender dock by Major Tom and then were taken to the bus. We had a 30-45 minute ride to the cave area. While being driven to the caves Mike gave us a great narration of Belize and local history. Once we arrived at the caves we got our tubes, lights, and life jackets and made our way to the caves. It was a 30 minute walk through the rain forest to the river. Not bad at all. Once at the river we inched our way in as it is FREEZING! DS had fun jumping in off some of the rocks. DD was a little nervous but Mike did a great job keeping her calm. I was in total awe of the caves. It is truly something not to be missed. I used an underwater camera inside the caves and as soon as I get those pics developed I will scan them in. I highly recommend Major Tom for cave tubing $45 each...DD was FREE!
