luggage details, anyway but a zillion websites?

Hi, does anyone know if the details about carry ons and checked luggage on the various airlines is cataloged anywhere? I think for cruisers this could be pretty important since some of us are traveling for longer time periods.

 

If there is a link to a site, that would be very helpful. Maybe some kind of sticky at the top of this page?

 

I'm just totally confused. I'm grandfathered in on my next AA flight but when I book early next year I'm sure I'll need lots of info.

Although "composite" charts and listings are helpful, nothing will replace primary research at the specific airline's website. You don't want to be caught relying on outdated and/or inaccurate info. And be sure to save and print data at the time of your purchase.

Exactly. Just go straight to the source: the airline's web site.

 

Or do what I do, assume that you're paying for all luggage that you are now traveling with if you are flying domestically (unless you are on Southwest).

Thanks to the pointer to the chart it is very helpful.

 

I will find it very useful in my first phase of comparision shopping. Often about 4 different airlines will be within $100 of each other. The extra luggage fees could make a difference on which is offering the best rate. It is just one more thing to factor in along with flight times, no of stops, etc..... And I will watch out not to get caught relying on old data.
