NW Pacific Posted July 31, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2008 Anyone in a mini suite (11650) or there abouts on the back of the ship? Wondering about noise from above? We just got off the Pearl but were in balcony on deck 9, starting to look for our next cruise. thanks

GDAC Posted July 31, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2008 We were in 11154 and just about every morning we heard some noise when they were setting up the Great Outdoors.
Cruise Leprechaun Posted July 31, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2008 we were just in 11150 on the Pearl a couple of weeks ago and I would book that room again in a heartbeat. Maybe there was a little noise from charis but not much at all and a great view and location.

NW Pacific Posted August 1, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted August 1, 2008 Me again, original poster, do the aft mini suites have a large enough balcony that provide Loungers? We are looking at a Panama Canal Cruise next Oct. and would want loungers on the balcony like we had on the Sun.
Lyman713 Posted August 1, 2008 #9 Share Posted August 1, 2008 take a look at the BA on deck 10 they have the largest balcony's if you don't mind a smaller room you can ask your steward for lounge chairs We are debating between the aft BAs on deck 10 and 9... are you saying the room is smaller on deck 10, but the balconies are larger? Or are the rooms the same size, with the bonus of the larger balcony? Thanks for the insight!!

LOWTYD Posted August 1, 2008 #11 Share Posted August 1, 2008 Anyone in a mini suite (11650) or there abouts on the back of the ship? Wondering about noise from above? We just got off the Pearl but were in balcony on deck 9, starting to look for our next cruise. thanks We had that same room (minisuite) on the Gem and it was just fine. No garbage, cigarettes or french fries from above. Didn't notice any noise (chairs scrapping or basketball playing)and the views were great! Enjoy!:)
